I had a crazy experience while reading this book. So let's go on with this review. I'll be splitting my review into 3 topicsTHIS BOOK SHOULD HAVE ANOTHER TITLE:"Translating God" is a fancy title. However ... "Digesting Prophetic Love" should be a more appropriated title for this book.I've never read a book talking so much about love and the prophetic like I've seen in this book. I won't give you any spoilers on the book, but it really changed my point of view on how I should deliver my prophecies to people. For many times while reading it, I got stuck at some phrases. Thinking that Love is the ultimate Power to be unleashed on the last days. Without Love, there's no power. Thanks ShawnTHIS BOOK TEACHES YOU HOW TO USE THE PROPHETIC GIFTS (IN CASE YOU HAVE IT)Everybody can prophesy and I like the way this book encourages everyone to listen to God and hear His voice and the prophetic. This book is indeed for everyone. Then I went to the car to take some notations from couple things I've heard from God during my trip to the grocery. While I was taking the notes ... I got hungry again and thought of going back to the grocery to take even more samples. (Corn syrup perhaps? I don't know ...)When I went there, I placed this book on the counter and a guy spoke this on my ears: "WOW, This book has a nice cover.It has a nice title too". I then shared with him about the book. In the middle of the conversation, The Holy Spirit spoke to me.He said, Give this book to this man. Give this book to this man now. You are going to be responsible for a revolution.Then I told the man: Listen, I bought this book to give to a friend of mine as a present, now this weekend. I thought it wouldn't hurt to read his book till Saturday and that's why I have it on my hands now on Wednesday (it had happened on a Wednesday). I started reading the book Tuesday evening around 11 p.m and now is 12 p.m and I'm already on the half of the book. But God just spoke to me and He's telling me to give this book to you.The guy goes like:"WOW !!!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS? ?!!?!?"I said: HECK YEAH MAN! Take it ! It's yours now!!He goes like:"Young man! I'm a local pastor in this region and just now I started to launch a church with the direction of the Holy Spirit. I'm craving revival and the supernatural and I have been praying to God for something new. This book now is pretty handy! Thank you so much!!"WOW !!! I GOT SUPER EXCITED !!I didn't even know that that guy was a pastor or anything like that!!My suggestion ?Don't only buy this book and read it. Practice what you read. Fast. In the book, Shawn takes a common sense and humorous approach which makes the topic understandable. However, this book also challenges the reader to evaluate his/her personal journey in the prophetic. Shawn's honesty and transparency causes the reader to self-reflect while at the same time encourages the reader to seek a closer personal relationship with Jesus. I highly recommend and encourage anyone who desires to hear from God on a higher level or any one in any aspect of ministry to read this book. This book will speak to you. It will challenge you. You will find simple yet profound truths within its pages. In fact, "Translating God" is a MUST READ for anyone who operates in the prophetic or ministry. It is one of the most practical books written on the prophetic that I have read to date. Simply stated: This book has changed my life. It will change yours, too.

Shawn Bolz - Thank you. This book did an incredible job of uncapping the potential of the prophetic gifting for everyone, but not opening the doors to the arena for a free-for-all prophetic bloodbath. The way Shawn presents the prophetic as accessible to everyone but includes the key for personal responsibility allows anyone who reads this to know and to understand that God is speaking all the time to everyone/anyone who will listen, not just special people. It was an incredibly refreshing read on prophecy that was real and genuine especially depicted through personal anecdotes. He does a great job in allowing for mistakes when learning how to prophesy, removing the pressure of perfection, but making it quite clear that it is our responsibility to have accountability for both prophetic words given and received. Having experience with the prophetic through a number of avenues, I feel that I've set an expectation for 'weird' when it comes to learning anything about it, but this book was not - it was genuine. Shawn removes the unnecessary pressure, reminding us that we are human and that the prophetic is birthed from true relationship and love. If you're at all interested in hearing from God and hearing from him for others - this book will change your life.

This is not your run of the mill favorite animal, but the capybara is my son's! He learned about them (and saw them) at our local zoo. Luckily this book was written and made available by Ms. Ganeri so that he could learn more about this lovable lump of a rodent!

I got this for my daughter because she likes capybaras. It was OK but I would've preferred a few more pages, and maybe better photos of the capys.

Very cute, perfect for a child going into 1st grade to read to his grandma.

Perfect for my grandson who is totally infatuated with Capybaras. Easy reader with lots of specific information. Highly recommend it!

WILLIAM W. FITZHUGH is the director of the Arctic Studies Center and curator in the Department of Anthropology at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History. Fitzhugh has conducted archaeology from Maine to Greenland and is currently excavating Basque and Inuit sites in Newfoundland and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. WILFRED E. RICHARD is a geographer with a concentration in environmental studies, photographer, and Registered Maine Guide. Richard is a research collaborator with the Smithsonian’s Arctic Studies Center, a research fellow at the Uummannaq Polar Institute in Greenland, and serves on the board of the Maine chapter of the International Appalachian Trail.

Several wriiters have contributed to the book, many with highly personal experiences and opinions.The book covers history, archeology, wildlife, social issues, industry and trades and economic issues for each section of the coasts going north.When the book comes to Labrador and its different groups of inhabitants it starts to really become interesting. But with Labrador being inaccessible, scarsely populated and remote, it helps to have a little knowledge of history and geography before reading that part of the book.So even if I enjoyed the book, preparing for travel to Greenland, Labrador and Newfoundland, it is still a book for a special interest group.
